Help us to End Homelessness
Every one of us has walked by someone who is experiencing homelessness at one time or another and looked away. Why? Because the problem of homelessness is so big and complicated. We don’t know what to do or how to help.
So we keep walking. But the problem of homelessness in our communities isn’t going away. In fact, it’s getting worse.
Ending homelessness won’t be easy. It will take all of us — as well as compassion, courage, passion, and a well-thought-out plan.
Partner with us to End Trauma
There is an epidemic of personal and social issues including addiction, chronic disease, anxiety, depression, PTSD and more whose roots can all be traced to trauma, adverse childhood experiences, chronic stress, and ultimately nervous system dysregulation.
In the last number of years there has been groundbreaking research in neuroscience that has fundamentally changed our understanding of how trauma can impact individuals psychologically, physiologically, emotionally, and socially. From this, several new and highly effective treatment modalities have been developed at the clinical level to build resilience and support the healing of individuals struggling with chronic symptoms resulting from unresolved trauma.

People use many excuses to keep from helping men and women experiencing homelessness. But in Deuteronomy 15, God told His people: If you’re obedient, there will be no poor in the land. But since there is disobedience, both personally and corporately, there will always be poor in the land. So open your hand to your brother and sister. Lift your brother and sister out of poverty. People experiencing homelessness don’t need excuses, they need help — and God has issued us all a Call to Action!
